Movement can be a trigger I remember when I had Absence seizures when I was young going to the Catholic Church and the repetitive standing, siting, and kneeling would trigger my Focal Aware “Aura” seizures and of course I do not know if I had an Absence Seizure after them or not. I outgrew the Absence Seizures by 12 years old and went 25 years seizure free even serving 8 years in the US Navy. Until while working in total darkness head trauma caused a lesion in my right temporal lobe and the scar tissue that formed as it healed became a focal point making me have a Tonic Clonic seizure at 37 and I started having Complex Partial seizures in my 40s. In 2014 I was able to have brain surgery becoming seizure free again while on a lower dose of one of my three medicines. 

Now I consider it a blessing that I am able to use my painting ability to help spread awareness and the knowledge I gained to be an advocate helping others with epilepsy
